Alex Gaudino, Directeur Artistique de talent
A la fois Directeur Artistique et Dj-producteur, Alex Gaudino commence son aventure dans l'industrie de la musique en 1993 en travaillant pour les labels Italiens Flying Records/UMM. Quelques années plus tard, Alex Gaudino crée le label ‘Rise Records’ avec Giacomo Maiolini (propriétaire de ‘Time Records’). Jackpot pour ce label qui est l’un des plus respectés en Europe. Son travail est récompensé en 2000 en qualité de meilleur Directeur Artistique aux European Music Awards de Londres.
Alex Gaudino : un Dj de renom
Parallèlement à sa carrière de Directeur Artistique, Alex Gaudino travaille également en tant que producteur et réalise des titres avec des chanteuses renommées comme Kristal Waters et Ultra Nate.
Son 1er succès mondial s’intitule Destination Unknown et se retrouve rapidement dans tous les classements Dance de plus de 30 pays. Ce titre retient l’attention de Dj internationaux comme Pete Tong et Judge Jules. Il agite les dancefloors grâce aux projets estivaux Supacupa et Sambattucada. En 2004, le magazine musical italien le plus populaire ‘Musica e Dischi’, consacre le tube Little Love, meilleur titre Dance Italien de l’année. Succès mondial, Little Love a été diffusé pour la 1re fois à la prestigieuse Winter Music Conférence de Miami par Pete Tong (Dj des soirées ‘Pure Pacha’ à Ibiza).
2007 est l’année de la consécration pour Alex Gaudino avec le tube mondial Destination Unknow joué par tous les Dj stars internationaux. Le titre se classe N°1 de l’European Dance Chart en mai 2007, N°1 du World Dance Chart, N°4 en Angleterre, N°1 pendant six semaines en France, N°10 en Hollande…
Dans le même temps, de nombreuses radios proposent à Alex Gaudino de devenir résident sur leur antenne (FG DJ Radio tous les samedis de 22 à 23h, ainsi qu’une radio en Grèce et Ministry of Sounds)
2008, nouvel élan artistique et médiatique marqué par Watch Out
L’incontournable Destination Calabria dont la rythmique saxophone si particulière est restée dans les mémoires durant 10 mois, n’est que le début d’un renouveau musical. Début 2008, le titre faisait encore partie des 20 meilleures ventes de singles. Les internautes qualifient même ce titre d’ «Inoubliable ».
Aujourd’hui il collabore étroitement avec Maurizio Nari et Ronnie Milani et a sorti fin 2007, son dernier single « Watch Out » réalisé avec Shena…Encore et toujours un succès.

Biography of Alex Gaudino :
‘Destination Calabria’ is the single that elevated Alex to the level of his Data label mates Eric Prydz and Fedde le Grand – it reached Number 1 in the European Dance charts in May 2007 and has already achieved the following national chart positions - No.1 in Belgium, No.4 in UK, No.6 in France, No. 10 in Holland and is about to be released worldwide in Australia, USA, Japan, South America over the next couple of months – this track truly is massive on a global scale!
Alex Gaudino Producer, DJ, Artistic manager with talent
Alex Gaudino began his adventure in the music business in Italy in 1993 at the famous Flying Records and UMM. In 1998 with the support of Giacomo Maiolini, owner of the legendary TIME Records, Alex Gaudino founded RISE Records, which soon became one of the most respected European labels, signing hit records like The Tamperer and Black Legend - Alex is the only Italian A&R who had two No. 1’s in the UK sales chart.
Then many other massive hits on Rise Records which got him nominated as best European A&R at the European Music Awards in London in 2000.
In this period he also increased his activity as a producer with two singles in 2003 featuring big names such as Crystal Waters and Ultra Natè. Alex Gaudino is also behind the projects Supacupa and Sambatucada (Gaudino da Costa) and his remix of “Is it Cos I’m Cool” by Mousse T marked the summer 2004.
Then Lil’ Love “Little Love” was nominated by Musica & Dischi as the best Italian dance record of 2005 and was released by Positiva in the UK and reached the top of all the club charts.
2006 began with the remixes of Pete Tong & Chris Cox (Deep End), Mousse T (Horny) and James Kakande (You You You), and the year progressed with the releases on Ministry of Sound of Alex’s single “Reaction” and on Hed Kandi of his Blue Lipstick project “Head over Heels”.

“Destination Calabria” had been building itself a cult following since it began life as ‘Magic Destination’, a track Alex Gaudino put together with his studio partner Maurizio Nari back in 2003, which featured vocals by Crystal ‘Gypsy Woman’ Waters. Jim Tonique was called in on remix duties, and to add a little something special to his mix, he replayed the irresistible sax hook of the Ibiza classic by Rune, ‘Calabria’.
Little did he know that this would then turn out to be one of the most sought after records over the coming months with DJ’s clamouring to get their hands on a copy.
Alex Gaudino knew he had something big when “Destination Calabria” was voted best dance record at the prestigious Popkomm conference.
The ability of “Destination Calabria” to get inside your head and have you humming the hook after just one listen, has seen it break out of the dance arena, onto the mainstream airwaves and massive Europe wide chart success.

His next tracks for 2007 is Alex Gaudino featuring Sam Obernik – “Que Pasa” and listen out later in 2007 for Alex Gaudino featuring Shena “Watch Out !” he comes back to Destination Calabria saxy vibe sampling the 80’s big afro hit Pig Bag “Papa’s Got A Brand New Pig Bag” once again voted as best track at this year Berlin’s Popkomm.
And…working on his 1st album which is planned to be released in the 2008 and presented at next year WMC in Miami.
Alex Gaudino is also a talented producer of other artists’ tracks and has an impressive list of remixes to his name including MYNC & Roachford – “Ride The Storm”, Se:sa – “Like This Like That”, Doc Da Funk – “Real Love” ,Didier Sinclair “Feel The Wave”, Philippe B “Looking For Paradise”, Robbie Rivera “Aye Aye Aye”, Roi Paci & Manu Chao “Toda Joia,Toda Beleza” in addition to being a very in demand and respected DJ. You can find him playing his pumpin’, dirty, sweet and sexy electro house sound at the coolest European and international venues.
