Biography of Offer Nissim :
When it comes to a unique line of music, which brings together different audiences from all over Israel, the name Offer Nissim immediately comes to mind. The DJ, producer and musical remixer has established, during the course of the past 25 years, a name as one of the most prominent and leading musical creators in the nation's club scene, and for good reason.
Offer Nissim's name precedes him, making him the most sought after DJ in the Israeli club scene. He has established himself as a cultural hero, enjoying the success of many national and international releases and responsibility for the production and success of singers Dana International and Maya. In recent years, Offer Nissim has become a well known face, with countless interviews in the Israeli press.
DJ Offer Nissim's meteoric rise and formation of his loyal fan group started totally by accident, when in 1979, the 15 year old DJ played his first ever live club set after being asked to replace a DJ that failed to show up. Since then, and over the years, the Mega DJ has played in dozens of clubs across Israel, such as the "Forum", "Ha-Oman 17", "Allenby 58" "TLV”and now playing at his own line “SQUEEZE”@DOME – the most successful line of the gay parties in Israel.
Offer Nissim's musical creativity and talent first reached international recognition in the 1998 Eurovision song contest with Dana International's breath taking winning performance of his master piece hit "Diva". These two talents collaborated for eight years and released between the years 1991-1998 ten successful albums.
In 2002, Offer Nissim released his first live mix compilation “Exited” that included some own productions with famous Israeli artists and in 2004 a double compilation “Searching” that included Maya s first three singles “That’s the way”, “Searching” and “Only you”. It was not very afterwards that music lovers named him as the best DJ of the year in Israel by the Tel Aviv DJ magazine.
In 2004 he signed with the leading and prestigious New York Dance label "Star 69 Records", owned by one of the world leading music producers and DJ, Peter Rauhofer. Offer Nissim and Rauhofer crossed paths mostly due to Offer Nissim's latest work with the young Israeli singer Maya Siman-Tov, aka "Maya". Offer Nissim and Maya's first hits “Searching” and “That’s the way” were included in many house music compilations all over the world. Offer Nissim's work as a remixer on an international level started with the remix of “Easy as Life” by Deborah Cox. Then Offer Nissim worked his magic on artists like Kristine W, Suzanne Palmer, Deborah Cooper, Sheila Broody, etc. Offer Nissim eventually released his album called ”First Time” featuring Maya, in May 2005, through Star 69 Records. Ever since, Offer Nissim's music career has evolved and from being a music producer, a DJ and a remixer, he became a world renowned music creator.
Eventually, Offer Nissim's electrifying and winning presence has become long time household name among Israeli clubbers in general, and gay clubbers in particular. Nissim's performance, which combines sweeping moves with an energetic atmosphere, creates a very unique link between himself and his audience, which he has captivated for years and which will continue following him for many more years to come…
