Biographie de MUTTONHEADS :

Jérôme Tissot alias Muttonheads, commence à s’intéresser à la musique électronique au début des années 90.
Il tire principalement son inspiration de la scène house française (Daft Punk, Demon, Lifelike, Da Fresh, Sébastien Leger, Kiko, Cassius et beaucoup d’autres...)
Le son disco/Funk/électro est à la base de toutes ses productions.
L’une de ses premières prods « To you » est signée chez Serial Records avec un remix de Da Fresh…véritable bombe électro des dancefloors. Le succès est de suite au rendez vous : 10 000 exemplaires vendus, une forte rotation sur des radios comme Radio FG, Contact FM, et Espace. Le CD single est sorti en Septembre 2004.
Joachim Garraud lui demande alors de remixer son nouveau morceau “High energy”. Lui même va remixer le deuxième maxi de Muttonheads “Smashing music” sorti en Octobre 2004 et qui à son tour est un véritable hit des dancefloors, joué et playlisté comme le “To you”.
L’année 2005 démarre très fort pour Muttonheads avec de nombreux remixs pour d’autres artistes puis un nouveau maxi “I’ll be there” qui, dès sa sortie, a véritablement explosé aussi bien en clubs qu’au niveau des ventes mais aussi de la diffusion radio.
Le nom de Muttonheads est maintenant bien connu.
Il commence à mixer avec son ami Mathieu Bouthier. Ils jouent dans des clubs en France et à l’étranger, dans des soirées privées, sur le char FG pour la Gay pride, ainsi que dans les soirées Club FG au Redlight ou au Metropolis…les dates s’enchaînent.
C’est à ce moment là que sort le morceau « Need U » produit avec Mathieu. Le titre est directement N°1 du buzz chart (Pete Tong) en Angleterre, N°1 de la playlist FG durant 10 semaines et début 2006 est licencié sur plusieurs Majors/Labels en Europe dont Universal/ULM/Independance en France avec un clip en rotation sur les chaînes musicales (M6/MCM/MTV..).
La suite, c’est un nouveau titre, sorti fin Décembre 2006 avec Mathieu Bouthier : « Make Your Own Kind of Music ».
Le titre buzz très vite. Il est signé chez Airplay/Universal et chez Boss Records/Ministry Of Sound pour le monde.
Il rentre sur Fun Radio mais aussi sur FG DJ Radio, Contact FM et dans plusieurs autres radios en France et en Europe.
Un Clip a été tourné, en rotation sur les chaînes musicales (M6/MCM/MTV/Fun TV…) et le single est sorti le 16 Juillet dernier.
Muttonheads a également remixé, avec Mathieu Bouthier, « Love in the new wave » d’Electrico, sorti en Mai dernier chez Dj Center / Cosmonote Blue.
Muttonheads produit ensuite 2 maxis seuls « Lone Rider » et « My dancefloor recipe ».
Le troisième titre « Remember » sortira fin Septembre / début Octobre, toujours en collaboration avec Mathieu Bouthier.
Septembre 2007, Muttonheads entame une résidence sur Radio FG tous les mardis de 23h à 00h en alternance une semaine sur deux avec Mathieu Bouthier.

Biography of MUTTONHEADS :
Since birth (year 1976) he has been surrounded by music, his parents introduced he to the world of music as a young child... the mini night club installed in the basement by his Father was a big initiating factor.
He dropped his synth classes after just a few lessons. Following sheet music wasn't really his thing, he wanted to create! Then, he discovered the 8bits mono sampling on his old Amiga 500 at the beginning of the 90's. He got an hundred or so pieces of music out of that old computer. In 1996, his first machine, a Groovebox MC-303, which he traded pretty quickly for a good sampler and small analog synths.
In terms of his influences, he has too many to name. He mainly listen to French electro music, lots of disco and funk with a small preference for Italian disco from the 80's.
23rd May 2001, first live experience for 40 minutes at the Divan du Monde (Paris).
At the beginning of 2004, first signature at Serial Records, for an EP "To You" and success is there! The second "Smashing Music" will follow the same way...
In 2005, a new single, hot hit, "I'll Be There" is placed in the charts, the year finished well with a collaboration under the name Serial Crew (Mathieu Bouthier/Muttonheads/Demon Ritchie) and the single "Need U".
A second track was realised at the end of 2006 with Mathieu Bouthier "Make Your Own Kind Of Music". The track buzz quickly. It was released on Airplay/Universal and Boss Records/Ministry of Sound for the world. The track is playlisted on Fun Radio, FG DJ Radio, Contact FM and on others radio stations in France and all over Europe. The video clip is diffused on the musicals channels (MTV/MCM/M6 Music/Fun TV..) and the single CD will be released on July, 16th 2007.
Muttonheads remixed too, with Mathieu Bouthier, « Love in the new wave » - Electrico, last May on Dj Center / Cosmonote Blue.
In 2007, new EPs "Lone Rider", "My Dancefloor Recipe" . Also available the forum, and a new podcast with one mix set per month.
The third track will be released for next September : “Remember”, always in collaboration with his friend Mathieu Bouthier.
He becomes resident on Radio FG each Tuesday from 11 pm to 00 am two weeks per month.
The future will be the occasion to discover new original titles, remixes, and many any more...
